C07 - Uncle Dave's Coondog Tree - In the mid 30's, Wayne's uncle Dave bought a coon dog that found a coon in this oak tree. Wayne shot it, it fell from the tree, and when they looked for it in the creek, the coon had gotten away. They continued on up the Mann Canyon cooning, but the dog chased a deer instead of finding coons. So Dave deemed the dog unfit, and Wayne never saw it later. (35.83715942, -121.0555334)
