H21 - Ethelbert's Homestead - Here is where Ethelbert settled for the balance of his life. Uncle Tom lived here most of his adult life. Ethelbert & Jane gave him the home because he was blind and needed to live in a familiar place. Tom had wires strung all around as his means of getting here and there. Wayne found a copper plate here a few years back, which he wonders may have come across the Santa Fe Trail with them when they moved west from St Louis.
