L07 - Adobe home and cabin at Wollesen's - Here is the dinky "home" that Wayne & Charlene lived in after the fire that destroyed the other small home in Copperhead Canyon that they'd just moved into that day: July 4th, 1949. Wayne used to work driving the harvesters on this ranch during the summers during later high school and then college years. The photo on left below shows the water tower a few yards from the cabin, with the roof of the adobe barely visible. The photo on right below shows one of the harvesters Wayne drove in the late 40's.
